Les Gendarmes ...

I captured this on a visit to Paris in June 2005. At the time I wasn't aware of the wily expression on the face of one of the policemen. I was initially attracted by a long row of them guarding a building near Notre Dame cathedral. Only after seeing this on my monitor did I decide to crop the rest of them out. (CLICK for larger image)
